Socks..

I'm a collector of socks. I have a thing for new socks. Something about putting on a nice, fresh, brand new pair of socks just makes everything right in my little world, at least for a moment. For this reason, I wear a new pair of socks for every fertility treatment, and often for all of those wand appointments that lead up to one. The socks don't have to be expensive or really anything special (never white) but they do have to be new. All this to say, I'll be chronicling IVF #2 with pictures of my socks from every appointment.

Because I'm sure you care. What's that? You don't, not even a little?

Too bad, its my blog and I'll do what I want!!

So there.

When I have an appointment I choose my socks first, and then build my outfit around the socks. Stop thinking my crazy, some people build their outfit around boots.... when it's 95 degrees outside :)

I love socks too! My mother always wore crazy socks, and I think I picked it up. My favorite is a pair of rainbow socks that I knitted. So snuggy!!

Good luck on the upcoming IVF. I am looking forward to the pictures!

I like that idea- I saw some cozy looking socks in REI tonight and I should have bought them!

I'm not a huge socks person, but I like this idea. I tried new socks for one appointment, but haven't since.

Oh my!!! That had me crying with laughter! I, for one, would be more than happy to see all your socks. Because along with boots in 95 degree heat, I also love socks. :)

hi! new follower here! i just had a quick question. so do you wear shoes with the socks? or do you put them on at the appointment? i really hate having my feet naked on the stirrups so maybe i'll follow your tradition.

I don't love naked feet in the stirrups either. I always were my socks to the appointment... with shoes, but never shoes in the stirrups.
