We are planning to start our registry over the weekend, and while we generally know what we want/need if any of you mamas out there have favorite items (especially mamas of twins!) please feel free to comment! Also, are there items that you wish you would have had more of... crib sheets, changing pad covers, pacifiers, swaddling blankets?

I have no suggestions, but will be watching your comments because we need help as well. Have fun registering!
I had researched long and hard and decided I wanted the baby jogger city select stroller (and will still get it with one because we plan to have a few babies either way). I pushed it around the store and it is fantastic. What I really like is that it's a double stroller but it's not ridiculously long or wide, easy to maneuver around a mall and yet still great for walks outdoors etc.
Adain and anais swaddling blankets where a life saver and fisher price Rock and play. My daughter used hers till she was 8 months old it was great. Also my daughter was a big spitter so we had like 20 burp clothes and 4 crib sheets which saved me from doing laundry every day :) now she 9 months old and we are expecting #2 in aug so I'm planning on getting lots of sheets again :)
I'm looking forward to reading the responses you get. We're starting ours on Monday, it's completely overwhelming, isn't it? I've been doing so much research, and have no idea what I want. I don't know from experience, but I keep hearing from multiple people how amazing the Fisher Price Rock N Play Sleeper is. If you're willing to share, I'd love to see how yours turns out.
Hey so stuff we love for C - the Nap Nanny -its awesome, especially if your babes have any reflux issues, although at $150 a pop I know that may not be realistic for two - we are borrowing one from a friend, but I've also heard you can always find them at consignment shops/sales. Also, while I ended up giving up nursing while we were trying to make it work, the My Breast Friend pillow was a million times better than the Boppy for me - having a long torso the Boppy didn't work for us at all, the MBF was awesome because I could pull it tight and velcro it where I wanted it to stay as a 'shelf' for holding C, again I don't know how that will work if you're planning to nurse both at the same time. C loves his playmat - Under Water theme by Baby Einstein, and doesn't care for a bouncer seat or swing - go figure. We love love love our Aden & Anais swaddle blankets - they're a must!! When we swaddle him we put a receiving blanket on first and them use the A&A to really swaddle and it holds tight all night. Now that he's starting to wriggle and break out at 2 months we just got a Halo Sleep Sack Swaddle to try on him, but the A&A can be used as much more than a swaddle blanket - they're great as nursing, or for me, pumping covers. If you're looking for a pump, I can't say enough good things about the Medela Freestyle and definitely get the handsfree bra to go with it! We adore our Summer Infant Slim and Secure video monitor, but today when trying to buy a second camera (one for his nursery and one for our bedroom as he naps in both places) we found out the single camera is being discontinued, making us believe the Slim & Secure will be too so maybe look at other video monitors. You can never have enough burp clothes and we use the Gerber cloth dipes - they're bigger and thicker! And pacifiers - seriously, I feel like I'm always looking for a burp cloth and a paci! We use the Gumdrops pacis, which is what our hospital sent us home with. Soft cuddly blankets too - Koala Baby has some really nice ones. I know I was told people would give me blankets and not to register for any, but we didn't get a single one besides what I registered for. I'm trying to think what else we love and works well - Oh! If you can find it, I highly recommend the Cooshe Changer by BabySmart over a regular Changing Pad and Covers. Brandi from The Hudack Family Journey has one too - its the best! If there is an accident, and with little boys there will be, you just wipe it down, no need to pull the cover off, put a new one on and wash the dirty one. C LOVES it, which Brandi has said about Savannah too! It's probably one of my fave baby items and I'm so glad we tracked it down! On a side note - some stuff, unless you really want it, don't get. Like our BIL got some Spa Bath Tub for their baby, 1. its huge! Think about storage and where you're going to keep stuff and 2. does a baby really need a whirlpool spa tub, probably not (in my opinion). I think thats it - oh, one more, if you get a ton of stuff and return it, don't feel bad. We did. We registered and then realized we just didn't need (or have room) for so much of it so we returned it. Now we have like $500 in store credit at BRU and can use it to buy things that we are finding we do need - like the Sleep Sack Swaddle and a noise machine ;) Have fun!!! :)
The one thing I could not live without is my Angle Care Monitor. It is a pad that goes under the mattress to detect movement(breathing). If no movement is detected in 15 seconds it sets off an alarm. This has given me such peace of mind, I still have it in her bed at 15 months old. It also works as a sound monitor as well, so when she wakes up I can hear her.
I loved my boppy for nursing, she did not like laying on it unless eating though.
Dr. Browns bottles are great!
I cloth diaper, LOVE IT, if you are interested in it and want more info feel free to contact me.
I don't have twins, but the bouncer chair was a lifesaver when N was really little. It was actually the only place he napped for several weeks. We just have a basic version that vibrates, but it doesn't play music or anything like that. It works great for us. I also really liked the boppy for nursing when he was brand new and still use it now for middle of the night nursing sessions. Although I don't know how well a boppy would work for tandem nursing if you are planning on doing that. They will probably give you a suggested list of things to register for at the store, but we skipped a lot of those items.
I second several things already mentioned - Rock and Play sleeper, AngelCare monitor, etc.
Also, cloth diapers are huge, cheap and absorbent and make the BEST burp cloths.
